Puffer fish, also known as blowfish, developed their famous “inflatability” because their slow, somewhat clumsy swimming style makes them vulnerable to predators. Almost all puffer fish contain tetrodotoxin, a substance that makes them foul tasting and often lethal to fish. To humans, tetrodotoxin is deadly, up to 1,200 times more poisonous than cyanide. There is enough toxin in one puffer fish to kill 30 adult humans, and there is no known antidote. Amazingly, the meat of some puffer fish is considered a delicacy. Called “fugu” in Japan, it is extremely expensive and only prepared by trained, licensed chefs who know that one bad cut means almost certain death for a customer. In fact, many such deaths occur annually. There are more than 120 species of puffer fish worldwide. Most are found in tropical and subtropical ocean waters, but some species live in brackish and even fresh water. They have long, tapered bodies with bulbous heads. Some wear wild markings and colors to advertise their toxicity, while others have more muted or cryptic coloring to blend in with their environment. The diet of the puffer fish includes mostly invertebrates and algae. Large specimens will even crack open and eat clams, mussels, and shellfish with their hard beaks. Poisonous puffers are believed to synthesize their deadly toxin from the bacteria in the animals they eat. Some species of puffer fish are considered vulnerable due to pollution, habitat loss, and overfishing, but most populations are considered stable.

Argentina is one of the most southernly located country in South America. It is situated between the Andes Mountains to the west and the southern Atlantic Ocean in the east and south. Neighboring Argentina to the north is Brazil, and Uruguay to the Northeast. Argentina also has a hold on the Falkland Islands, that are located South of Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands. Argentina was officially named Republica Argentina, but for legislation purposes Nacian Argentina (Argentine Nation) is used. The world Argentina comes from the latin word for silver, argentum. The history of the name goes way back to some of the first voyages that were made by the Spanish expeditionists to the River Plate Region. Survivors of a shipwrecked expedition, Led by by Juan Daaz de Solas, discovered indigenous people in the of Argentina who he gave silver objects as gifts. News of the Incredible Sierra del Plata “a mountain that is rich with silver” got to Spain in about 1524. After that the Spanish called the river of Solas, Rao de la Plata ( The River of Silver).

Anorexia treating drugs could be developed following study which found that subtle differences in brain development in the womb can be responsible for the condition. In a research, scientists have found that 70% of anorexic individuals show signs of problems with neurotransmitters, chemicals which help brain cells communicate, reports the telegraph. The reports suggests that these developmental changes meant the patients were particularly vulnerable to eating disorders a finding which prompted authors to propose screening children at the age of eight and experts to claim it could “pave the way for the first drugs” Susan Ringwood, chief executive of beat, an eating disorder charity, the research could pave the way for the first drugs to be developed to treat eating disorders.

Bioidentical or natural hormones are being promoted to consumers as benign health tonics. The term bioidentical is a pseudoscientific neologism that refers to endogenous hormones, including estriol, estrone, estradiol, progesterone, testosterone, DHEA, thyroxine, and cortisol. Natural alludes to the fact that these are native human hormones. In fact, these hormones are synthesized or semisynthesized. Stigmasterol from soybeans (Glycine max) and diosgenin from an inedible Mexican yam (Dioscorea villosa) can be converted to progesterone in the laboratory but there is no evidence that plant sterols convert to progesterone endogenously. Many bioidentical hormone products that require a prescription are prepared by compounding pharmacies. Compounding pharmacies use commercially available drugs to create formulations that are not commercially available. For example, compounding pharmacies routinely turn tablets into syrup for patients with swallowing problems, combine two or three pills into a single capsule, make a pet-sized dose of a drug meant for humans, or make a topical preparation from a drug available only in an oral form. Because compounding pharmacies are not manufacturing facilities, they are not subject to FDA standards for good manufacturing practices. Compounded preparations are not regulated by the FDA and may vary in potency.

Athens is one of the most built up cities in Europe. Now fed-up residents of Athens enraged by the pro-development attitude of their politicians and emboldened by recent anti-government riots are taking matters into their own hands. Residents of the bohemian district of Exarcheia have scored a rare victory by turning a car park into a small but much-needed park almost overnight. In the space of one week end residents including artists, architects and venteran left wing militants got together to provide the money, equipment and elbow grease to transform the area into a something positive for the local community, complete with benches, flower beds and a children’s playground. Alexis Grigoropoulos was gunned down by a police officer last December, sparking a wave of youth anger that boiled over into weeks of protests marred by violence. Locals say the spirit of disobedience that pervaded Athens and the country’s other main cities that month has encouraged Greeks to take a more pro-active approach towards improving living conditions too long neglected by the state.

Agree or not, bad jobs are pain in the back. If one is unhappy with one’s job, chances are that one could take longer to recover from a back pain than their less stressed peers in the office. People working in a high demand but low control office environment, or who had an unhelpful management style at work, are more likely to suffer from lower back pain because of “biopsychosocial” factors. In fact, the biopsychosocial model, which recognized the importance of biological, psychological and social factors in illnesses, is now understood to be central in understanding human health in general and pain in particular. If someone agreed that back pain was dominating their life, they appeared to have a worse recovery prognosis than someone who disagreed.

Yesterday, I had a very great time with my friend. She is my friend since from my kinder garden. I love her much. We recalled all the past lovable moments and enjoyed a lot. We had a look on the school day photos. We giggled all the day after seeing that. I think life seems to be pleasant when we recall all the pleasant moments of life. According to me, we should not run after the life till the end. We should chase it for few years and after that we have to sit back and relax. In our old age, we should gather all our friends and talk about all the greenish moments. I think it makes the life meaningful.

A yawning is considered as a form of expression indicating boredom or a break in our train of thought. For many, it is relaxing or may occur in response to seeing someone else yawn. Nobody knows why one person yawning can cause others to yawn. Scientists say that the question can also asked of our primate relatives. They have presented evidence that yawns are contagious among monkeys, particularly with individuals of similar age and social status. This contagion is interpreted as a synchronization of activities ‘due to the imposition of wake-sleep rhythms on different individuals and to the attention they devote to each other’. A yawning should be in a process of decreasing arousal according to them. If observed by other animals and if the observers arousal level becomes synchronized as a consequence the observers will also yawn. Accordingly, the yawn should be only a sufficient, not a necessary, factor in eliciting yawns from other group members.
